Monica Morris, PhD, received an MA and PhD in sociology from the University of Southern California. Her areas of expertise include social psychology, sociology of emotion, and medical sociology. She was a professor of sociology in the California State University System for over twenty years. A widely published author, Dr. Morris resides with her husband in southern California.
